The weather over the Adriatic is influenced by a low over the Tyrrhenian Sea and a field of high pressure over northern Europe.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 16-32, in the Velebit Channel 40, and during the night up to 46 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic E and SE, along the coast from the middle of the night NE winds, 16-32 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open and in the Velebit Channel 4-5, and in the open of the North Adriatic during the night possibly up to 6. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, along the coast of the North Adriatic of snow as well. End of precipitation expected in the South and Central Adriatic toward the end of the day and during the night and in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night.
