WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic E and SE winds, 15-30, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 40 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the open up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder. Along the coast of the North Adriatic a risk of snow during the night.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong E and SE winds, easing briefly during the forenoon. Sea slight and moderate, locally in the open up to rough. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, and along the coast of the North Adriatic with a risk of snow.
