IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC TOMORROW A RISK OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-55, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 65 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-8 knots. During the night SE, along the coast E winds as well, 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, gradually increasing from the middle of the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase, bringing rain in places of the North Adriatic late in the day, spreading during the night to the Central Adriatic as well. From the middle of the night a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in the North and Central Adriatic, and with a risk of wind drifted snow in the Velebit Channel during the day. Moderate to fresh SE, in places along the coast E winds as well. In the North Adriatic before the morning and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon, winds turning to NE and strengthening to moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force. Sea smooth or slight, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic increasing in the morning to slight and moderate.
