LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. A RISK OF FOG PATCHES, MAINLY IN THE OPEN SEA OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC THIS MORNING AND AGAIN DURING THE NIGHT. A RISK OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 30-40 KNOTS IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL TOMORROW BEFORE THE MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

A field of a little raised and equalized air pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a low, south of Sicily, is deepening and shifting northeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds, in the open sea mainly NW, and along the coast NE, 4-10 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 5-15, in places in the morning possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the open sea of the North Adriatic. Partial clearing, but in places still variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain or a shower with thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Calm or light variable winds. In the second part of the night NE winds, strengthening toward the morning to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh. Sea calm or smooth, increasing tomorrow before the morning to smooth and slight. Mostly clear. Mist in places and a risk of fog here and there, mainly in the open sea of the North Adriatic. A new cloud increase is expected in the south of the Adriatic from the middle of the night.
