SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds 5-10, in the North Adriatic SW up to 12 knots. During the night S and SE winds 5-15, strengthening in the North Adriatic to 10-20 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the evening and during the night to 2-3. Visibility 5-15, in places even less than 1 km due to fog. Fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to fresh SE, in the North, from midday in the Central Adriatic as well, up to strong. Sea slight and moderate. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, in the North Adriatic with a little risk of isolated rain showers with thunder.
