SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-10, late in the day SE 4-10, in the north of the Adriatic up to 15 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 5-15, in places less than 1 km, or even less than 200 meters due to fog. Fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain in the North Adriatic, particularly late in the day, and possibly in a part of the Central Adriatic as well.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly cloudy with rain only in places, in the North Adriatic with a little risk of isolated rain showers with thunder. SE winds will strengthen to moderate and fresh, in the North Adriatic S and SW to moderate to strong. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate.
