A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a cold front is shifting north of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-12, in the South and Central Adriatic from midday up to 16 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 5-15, in places less than 1 km, this morning even less than 200 meters, due to fog, particularly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Fine or fair, in the North Adriatic and in the open sea cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain or drizzle.

Calm or light NW winds, in the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate. Sea calm or smooth, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to slight. A risk of mist or fog here and there. Fine or fair, in the North Adriatic and in the open sea mainly cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain or drizzle.
