SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the European land keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic calm or mainly NW winds 4-10 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic NE winds 6-16, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still up to 20, easing and turning to NW 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 2-3, in the open of the extreme south at first possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

Calm or light winds, in the North Adriatic mainly SW and SE. Sea smooth, in the South Adriatic up to slight. In the North Adriatic a risk of mist and fog. Mostly clear, but cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic.
