SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the European land keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 6-14, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 18, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 26, gradually turning during the day to NW, in the North Adriatic to SW and SE, and easing to 4-12 knots. In the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds will gradually ease in the afternoon to 16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic 3-4, calming gradually to 1-2, in the South Adriatic to 2-3. Visibility 20, in the North Adriatic 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

Light to moderate, mainly NW, in the North Adriatic SE and SW, and in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds. Sea smooth or slight. In the North Adriatic a risk of mist and fog. Mostly clear, but cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic.
