A trough with frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

NW, in the South Adriatic at first still SW winds, 12-24, strengthening in places to 28, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic in the evening up to 38 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open 4-5, increasing toward the end of the day in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic to 5-6. Mist in places and visibility 5-15 km. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places, but clearing is expected in the North and Central Adriatic in the evening and during the night.

Moderate to strong NW and N winds, locally in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to gale force, easing rapidly, firstly in the North Adriatic. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic rough and very rough, calming later on.
