LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-50 KNOTS. FROM MIDDNIGHT ON IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC SEA 5. DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING A RISK OF FOG PATCHES, MAINLY IN THE OPEN SEA.

SYNOPSIS

A field of high is strengthening southeastwards from the Adriatic and a low over the western Mediterranean is slowly approaching.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds increasing to 14-28 knots, locally up to 34. Sea increasing to 3-4, towards midnight in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic 4-5. Visibility 5-15 km, during the night possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the open sea. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places.

Strong and very strong, in the open sea stormy SE winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic rough. A risk of mist, in the open also of fog. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places.
