LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS UP TO 35 KNOTS EXPECTED TOMORROW MORNING. A RISK OF FOG, MAINLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

A field of a little lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal disturbance is shifting further southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in places along the coast E winds, gradually strengthening to 6-16, during the night to 10-20 knots. In the South Adriatic at first still NW and NE winds 6-16, in the extreme south NW up to 20, dying away in the afternoon and turning to SE 4-14 knots, gradually strengthening later on. West and north of Istria variable winds 4-10 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic at first 3-4. Visibility 5-15, in places possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly west and north of Istria during the night. Variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain in the North Adriatic.

SE winds further strengthening to moderate and strong. West and north of Istria light variable winds. Sea smooth or slight, increasing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward midday to moderate. A risk of fog, mainly west and north of Istria during the night and in the morning. Variably cloudy with scattered rain in the North Adriatic, mainly in the wider area of Rijeka.
