SYNOPSIS

A shallow field of low pressure over the Adriatic is gradually filling up and shifting eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Along the coast of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 6-14, toward the open sea NW 14-24 knots. Elsewhere SW winds 6-14, turning along the coast of the Central Adriatic during the day to NE 8-16, toward the open sea to NW 14-24 knots. Sea 2-3, south of Porer and toward the open of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, but end of precipitation and clearing expected in the North Adriatic in the afternoon. Air temperatures a little lower.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate, elsewhere moderate to strong NW winds. Along the coast light to moderate NE winds. In the North Adriatic sea smooth, elsewhere slight, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate. In the North and Central Adriatic partial clearing, in the South still variably cloudy with scattered rain, but clearing is expected there as well during the night.
