A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-12, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 16, in the extreme south up to 20 knots. Toward the end of the day winds will gradually ease, but in the North Adriatic during the night SE winds 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 2-3, and in the extreme south at first up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, in the open sea variably cloudy, in the South Adriatic at first still with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light, only in places up to moderate SE, in places along the coast E winds as well, and in the southern part of the Adriatic at first light NW. Sea smooth, in the open of the South Adriatic at first up to slight. Fine or fair, in the North Adriatic variably cloudy, toward midday with a risk of rain in the wider area of Rijeka.
