SYNOPSIS

A low over the Gulf of Genoa is deepening and it is expected to shift across the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 14-28, strengthening around midday to 18-34, in places up to 38 knots. Sea 3-4, from midday 4-5, and during the night possibly up to 6. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places, particularly in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Near gale and gale force SE winds will gradually turn in the second part of the night to SW and ease in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Sea moderate and rough, locally up to very rough. Mainly cloudy with isolated rain showers and thunder.
