A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

SE, in the open sea and in the North Adriatic SW winds as well, 12-26 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to near gale force SE and SW winds easing and turning briefly to NW and NE. Elsewhere SE and S winds strengthening to strong and near gale force. Sea slight and moderate, in the north of the Adriatic at first and in the south of the Adriatic around midday, possibly up to rough.
