A deep trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 15-25, in places up to 30, easing during the day and turning in the North Adriatic to SW 8-16 knots. Sea 3-4, toward the open and in the South Adriatic 4-5, gradually calming in the second part of the day. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the North Adriatic, where more abundant precipitation is possible. Rather warm.
