A deep trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

S and SE winds 15-30, in places of the North and Central Adriatic up to 36 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open 4-5, in the open of the North Adriatic possibly up to 6. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy and rather warm with scattered rain and with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Moderate to strong, in places up to gale force SE, turning west of Istria during the forenoon to SW winds and easing. Sea slight and moderate, toward the open up to rough. Variably and mainly cloudy with rain in places and with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
