SEA IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT UP TO 5. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A new trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE, in the morning still SW winds, strengthening to 12-22, from midday to 16-32, during the night up to 38 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE, toward the open sea NW winds, 6-16, in the extreme south up to 20, easing in the morning and turning around midday to SE 12-22, during the night to 16-32 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic at first 3-4. In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic from midday and in the rest of the Adriatic toward the end of the day and durning the night, sea increasing to 3-4, in the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic during the night to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but from midday gradual cloud increase, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic, where rain in possible late in the day.

Strong and near gale, in the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic up to gale force SE winds. Sea moderate, in the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic up to rough. Variably and mainly cloudy with rain in the North, then along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic as well, and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder during the night.
