FROM THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF SW, ALONG THE COAST OF SE WINDS AS WELL, 35-45 KNOTS AND A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. A RISK OF FOG PATCHES HERE AND THERE.

SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening slowly and a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW and SW winds 4-12 knots. In the evening, firstly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, SW and SE winds strengthening to 10-20 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the North Adriatic to 2-3. Visibility 5-15, in places with fog possibly less than 1 km. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a little rain in places, from the middle of the night with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. In the South and Central Adriatic mostly clear, but cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day. Air temperatures a little higher.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central, then gradually in the rest of the Adriatic as well, SW and SE winds strengthening in the morning to moderate to strong, in the northern part up to near gale force. Sea increasing to slight, in the North Adriatic up to moderate. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places, in the North Adriatic with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
