WARNING

FOG PATCHES DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING. FROM MIDDAY LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-45, IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT OF NE 35-60 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AND DURING THE NIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED.

SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a deep trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 4-14, gradually strengthening during the day to 12-24 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, late in the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced due to mist, in the morning possibly to less than 1 km due to fog. Heavier cloud increase, bringing rain and a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder in the North, toward the end of the day in the rest of the Adriatic as well, particularly in the northern part during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to near gale force, and turning in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night to strong and gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
