LOCAL GUSTS OF NW, ALONG THE COAST DURING THE NIGHT OF NE WINDS, 35-40, IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC UP TO 50 KNOTS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE OPEN SEA DURING THE NIGHT. SEA POSSIBLY UP TO 5 IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC TOMORROW.

A weakened cold front will be shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 6-16, in the open sea up to 20, easing to 4-10, in the open sea to 16 knots around midday, and strengthening again later on to 10-22 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a little risk of rain, showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea and in the southern part of the Adriatic. Clearing is expected in the North, tomorrow in the Central and in a part of the South Adriatic. Moderate to strong, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to near gale force NW, in places along the coast NE winds, easing in the North Adriatic tomorrow to light to fresh. Sea slight and moderate, in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly up to rough tomorrow.
