SYNOPSIS

A low over the Tyrrhenian Sea is extending a trough over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 14-28, in the South Adriatic up to 34 knots. In the North Adriatic mainly NE winds 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots, except in the southern part where SE and E winds will blow at times. Toward the end of the day and during the night winds will ease slowly. Sea 4-5, calming toward the end of the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

Winds will further ease during the night to fresh and in the northern part toward midday NE winds easing to light to moderate, only in the South Adriatic still up to strong SE. Sea slight and moderate, in the northern part toward midday calming to smooth and slight. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.
