IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT A RISK OF LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

SYNOPSIS

A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a weakened frontal disturbance will be shifting mainly across the inland.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds turning to NW 4-14, during the night to NE 4-14, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 18, and in the extreme south up to 22 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the South Adriatic during the night to 2-3, mainly toward the open. Visibility 10-20, but in places possibly reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder. Partial clearing is expected in the northern part of the Adriatic late in the day and during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Partial clearing, but at first still variably cloudy in places, possibly with a little rain or a shower with thunder, mainly in the south of the Adriatic. Light to moderate NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to fresh, and in the extreme south up to strong. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning NE winds will turn to light to moderate SE, firstly in the open sea. Sea smooth, in the South, in the morning in the North Adriatic as well, increasing up to slight.
