WARNING

IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC STILL A VERY LITTLE RISK OF FOG AT FIRST.

SYNOPSIS

A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a weakened frontal disturbance will be shifting mainly across the inland part.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 4-14, gradually turning around midday to NW, and during the night to NE 4-14 knots. Sea 2, in the North Adriatic still 2-3 at first. Visibility 10-20, but in places possibly reduced to around 5 km due to mist, or even in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic this morning to less than 1 km due to fog. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder. Partial clearing is expected in the North Adriatic late in the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic from the middle of the night up to fresh, and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to strong. Sea smooth, increasing in the South Adriatic to slight. Partial clearing, but in places still variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly in the southern part of the Adriatic.
