A RISK OF FOG PATCHES THIS MORNING AND AGAIN DURING THE NIGHT, MAINLY IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC. GUSTS OF NE WINDS AROUND 35 KNOTS EXPECTED IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT.

A field of high air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-12, gradually strengthening to 6-16, in the open of the South Adriatic toward the end of the day up to 20 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic late in the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, during the night and in the morning around 5 km due to mist, or possibly even less than 1 km due to fog, particularly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Mostly clear.

Light to moderate NW, along the coast NE winds, only in the South Adriatic up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic up to moderate. A risk of mist and fog here and there. Mostly clear.
