IN THE OPEN OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC SEA UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A deep trough with cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE and SW winds 5-15, turning gradually in the North Adriatic this morning, then in the Central during the day and in the South Adriatic in the evening to NE e N winds, strengthening to 15-30, in places up to 35 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4, firstly in the North Adriatic. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder in the North, during the day in the Central and in the evening in the South Adriatic as well. Air temperatures will drop. Clearing is expected from the north late in the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to near gale force NE and N winds, in places up to gale force, easing west of Istria. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to rough. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder, but clearing is expected in the north of the Adriatic.
