SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is weakening a little, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North Adriatic SW winds as well, 6-16, only in places up to 20 knots. In the South Adriatic calm or SE winds 4-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, particularly in the second part of the day. In the Central and South Adriatic mostly clear with gradual cloud increase.

Moderate SE winds, easing toward the end of the day, and turning in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh, NE. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder, but gradual clearing is expected before the morning, firstly in the North Adriatic. In the South Adriatic mostly clear.
