SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, but a high level trough is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or SE winds 4-10, locally in the open up to 14 knots. Sea 1-2, locally in the open possibly up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic gradual cloud increase, bringing rain, showers and thunder later on, particularly in the extreme north of the Adriatic. Elsehwere mostly clear, but even there partial cloud increase during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Elsewhere variably cloudy with a chance of rain, showers and thunder in places of the Central Adriatic, particularly in the northern part. Light to moderate SE, in places along the coast E and NE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
