SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly N and NW winds 10-20, in the open of the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 28, easing during the night to 5-15, in the South Adriatic to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly up to 5, easing during the night. West of Istria variable winds 5-10 knots and sea 1-2. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair.
