A field of low pressure is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 8-16, in places up to 22 knots, easing in the afternoon. Elsewhere NW winds 15-25, along the west Istrian coast 8-16 knots. In the South Adriatic SE winds 8-16 knots, turning to NW. Sea 2-3, toward the open sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Cooler.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic partial clearing, elsewhere variably cloudy with scattered rain or brief isolated rain showers with thunder. Along the coast light to moderate NE, along the west Istrian coast light, toward the open sea moderate to strong NW winds. Sea in the North Adriatic smooth, elsewhere slight and moderate.
