SYNOPSIS

A field of a little raised air pressure has intensified briefly over the Adriatic, but a new trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

In the North Adriatic SW, elsewhere NW winds, 8-16 knots, easing till the end of the day. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair. In the North Adriatic variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

In the North Adriatic moderate to strong NE, south of Porer and in the rest of the Adriatic moderate, in the northern part of the Central Adriatic up to strong SE and SW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate. Variably or mainly cloudy, in the North and Central Adriatic with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places with more abundant precipitation. Air temperatures a little lower.
