A trough with frontal disturbance has approached the Adriatic from the northwest.

In the North Adriatic NE winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 28 knots at first, gradually easing around midday and turning to SE 6-16, south of Istria up to 20 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic SE winds 6-16, strengthening toward the end of the day to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the North Adriatic this morning still 3-4. Visibility 10-20, but in the northern part of the Adriatic around 5 km. In the North, toward the end of the day in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, variably or mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, in places possibly even heavier. Elsewhere mostly clear.
