ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE, IN THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT OF NE and NW , AND IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT OF SW and NW WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS, EASING ALL ALONG THE ADRIATIC TOMORROW MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE and SW winds 5-15, in the North Adriatic NE 15-25 knots. In the Central Adriatic during the night NW and NE, in the South SW and NW winds, 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Winds turning all along the Adriatic to NW and NE and easing. Sea calming to smooth and slight, except in the extreme south, where it will still stay up to moderate. Variably cloudy and a little cooler, with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing is expected in the North and Central, around midday in the South Adriatic as well.
