SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is slowly shifting across the Adriatic further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 14-34, easing to 6-16, in the South Adriatic to 24 knots and turning in the open sea to SW, in a part of the North and Central Adriatic possibly to NE and NW winds. Sea 3-4, toward the open 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, possibly even heavier.

Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. A chance of more abundant precipitation, mainly in the South and North Adriatic. Light to fresh SE, in the open sea SW, turning in the North Adriatic to moderate to strong NE and NW winds. Sea calming to smooth and slight, locally in the open still up to moderate.
