SYNOPSIS

A low centered over the Ligurian Sea is extending a trough with frontal system toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 10-20, toward the open sea 20-30, locally up to 35 knots. Sea 3-4, toward the open 4-5. Visibility 10-20, in places less than 10 km due to rain. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places possbily with more abundant precipitation. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate, at first up to strong SW winds. Elsewhere strong and near gale force SE winds. Sea moderate and rough, in the North Adriatic in the morning slight. No significant change in air temperatures.
