A trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and SW winds 5-10, turning during the night to SE up to 15 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South, during the night of the rest of the Adriatic as well, up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear. Cloud increase is expected, firstly in the North Adriatic, bringing possibly rain and showers during the night.

Moderate and fresh SE winds. Sea smooth or slight. Fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
