A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-12, in the Central and South Adriatic 6-16, toward the open sea in the afternoon up to 20 knots. Toward the end of the day and during the night in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic winds will gradually ease. Sea 1-2, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 2-3, mainly toward the open. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast of the South Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with a little risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.

Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning moderate cloud increase. During the night in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light, toward the open sea up to moderate NW winds. In the North and in a part of the Central, in the morning elsewhere as well, calm or light variable winds. Sea calm or smooth, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night smooth or slight.
