ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NW WINDS. TOWARDS THE END OF THE DAY IN THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, DURING THE NIGHT ALSO IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC GUSTS OF NE WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS. DURING THE DAY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC STILL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-55 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A low with a front system is shifting over the Adriatic eastwards and from North is building a ridge of high.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NW winds, 12-24 knots, initially in places up to 30, in the afternoon in the North Adriatic, at the end of the day also elsewhere, diminishing to 4-12 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic NW winds, 6-16 knots, in the open 12-24, at the end of the day in the Central Adriatic diminishing a little and turning to NE, 6-16 knots, briefly up to 20. Initially in the South Adriatic SW winds, 12-22 knots. Sea 3-4, at the end of the day in the North Adriatic gradually calming to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, locally rain and thunder showers. At the end of the day in the North and partially in the Central Adriatic partial clearing and mainly end of precipitation.
