ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and SW, TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY OF NW WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, DURNIG THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING UP TO 50 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A low over the Ligurian Sea is extending a trough toward the Adriatic and it is expected to shift across the Adriatic eastwards.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North Adriatic mainly SE and SW, along the coast NE winds, 6-16, in places up to 20, late in the day and during the night NE winds strengthening to 14-26 knots. In the South and Central Adriatic SE and SW winds strengthening to 12-22, in places up to 26 knots, and turning in places toward the end of the day to NW. Sea increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
