A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE COAST OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON AND TOMORROW MORNING TOWARD THE OPEN SEA. DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE BAY OF KVARNER LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure is gradually weakening, while a trough with cold front is slowly approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-14, in places in the afternoon up to 18 knots, turning in the North Adriatic in the evening, then gradually in a part of the Central Adriatic, to NE 6-16, and strengthening from the middle of the night in the Velebit Channel and in the Bay of Kvarner to 12-22 knots. Sea 2-3. Visiblity 20 km. Mostly clear and hot, but in the afternoon moderate cloudiness and a little risk of brief isolated rain showers and thunder along the coast of the North Adriatic.

Light, toward the open sea up to moderate NW, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel and in the Bay of Kvarner up to strong NE winds. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear with moderate cloudiness in places. In the morning in the North Adriatic cloud increase with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, firstly in the open sea.
