IN THE NORTH, LATE IN THE DAY AND TOMORROW IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC AS WELL, ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. LATE IN THE DAY IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT IN THE CENTRAL, AND TOMORROW TOWARD MIDDAY IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50, IN PLACES OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC UP TO 60 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest and it is expected to shift across the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 6-16, turning in the North Adriatic late in the day and in a part of the Central during the night to NE 14-28, in the northern part up to 32 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the North Adriatic in the evening to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North, late in the day in a part of the Central Adriatic, gradual cloud increase, bringing scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder later on.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force NE winds, gradually spreading to the rest of the Adriatic. Sea increasing to slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
