A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EXTREME NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON. IN THE NORTH AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 45 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a weakened front is shifting more to the north of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 8-18 knots, easing in the evening and turning along the coast to NE 6-16, in the North and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 20, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic late in the day up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear and hot, but in the extreme north of the Adriatic in the afternoon becoming variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
