IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC THIS MORNING STILL A RISK OF GUSTS OF NE, IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON OF NW WINDS, 30-40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20, in places in the afternoon possibly up to 24 knots. In places along the coast this morning still NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic possibly up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear. Light, only in places up to moderate NE, and locally in the open sea light to moderate NW winds, in the South and Central Adriatic still up to fresh at first. Sea smooth or slight, in the south of the Adriatic possibly up to moderate at first.
