SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 4-14, turning in the North Adriatic late in the day and during the night to NW 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the greater part of the Adriatic mostly clear and very hot, only in the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of rain and thunder, particularly in the evening when heavier rain showers are likely.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate SE, in the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, moderate to fresh NW winds and sea slight. In the North and in a smaller part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain and thunder, and with a risk of heavier rain showers. In the rest of the Adriatic mostly clear.
