SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the west, while a shallow low, south of the Adriatic, is filling up.

NE winds 16-32 knots, turning brifly in the open in the afternoon to NW. Sea 3-4, in the open possibly up to 5. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic still variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast in the afternoon and in the open of the South Adriatic during the night.
