SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the west, while a shallow low, south of the Adriatic, is filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 14-30, southeast of Istria at first up to 34 knots, turning possibly in the open around midday to NW. Sea 3-4, in the open possibly up to 5. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast around midday and in the afternoon.
