LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and NW WINDS 35-45, IN THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC STILL THIS MORNING UP TO 70 KNOTS. A RISK OF A LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM STILL INITIALLY IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC. THE SEA 5 IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC.

A ridge of high is spreading from the west over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE wind 12-26, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 30, still this morning along the coast up to 40 knots, in the open turning to NW wind 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 26 knots. Sea 3-4, still initially possibly 5 in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, still initially a risk of showers and thunder in the extreme south of the Adriatic.
