SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is slowly intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west, while unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds strengthening to 10-20, in places up to 26 knots, turning along the coast in the evening to NE. Sea gradually increasing to 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Variably cloudy in places with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly along the coast.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong NE and NW winds. Sea slight and moderate. Gradual clearing, but in the South Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with a risk of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
