SYNOPSIS

A field of approximately mean and equalized air pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a weakened front is approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or mainly SE and SW winds 4-12, in places of the North Adriatic up to 16 knots. In the North Adriatic in the afternoon wind turning to NE and NW 4-14, in places briefly up to 18 knots. Sea 1-2, locally in the North Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly around 5 km due to mist. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly from midday.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Late in the day and during the night in the Central, then in the South Adriatic as well, wind turning to light to moderate, in places briefly up to fresh, NE and NW. Sea smooth or slight. Cloud increase with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder expected in the Central, late in the night in the South Adriatic as well.
